Un proyecto de arquitectura tiene etapas. En la primera, el diseño, donde no tienes limitaciones, puedes volar, soñar despierta o dormida, imaginar, pensar es la parte más poética, de más gozar para mi. Luego viene el “y ahora como lo construyó?”. Reuniones con ingenieros, revisar estructura, que las formas que diseñas sean posibles, escoger materiales. La última y más difícil, la Construcción. He llegado al punto que prefiero construir yo, ir diario a la obra me hace sentirla, ser más flexible si tengo que hacer algún cambio que se me ocurra en sitio, y estar encima de todo el proceso, para que los detalles queden lo más perfectos.

An architecture project has stages. First the design, where there are no limitations, we can fly, daydream, imagine, it is the most poetic part, the most enjoyable. Then comes the "and now, how do we build this?" Meetings with engineers, reviewing the structure, making sure the shapes designed are achievable, choosing the materials. Lastly and most difficult, the construction. I have reached the point in which I prefer to build myself. Visiting the site daily makes me feel it, allows more flexibility into the project, being able of comprehending any changes that may occur on site, and being on top of the whole process, so that the details are as perfect as possible.
